OK…so Stella Artois has a new market positioning, which is a bit of a fail, as I see it. This is because: a) other beers have done this (the ‘perfection’ approach), so there’s no Point of Difference here b) Stella has a weird reputation as the ‘wife beater’ drink, so it’s anything but a ‘thing of beauty’ I much rather like the friendly, cosy, fun view on beer. Another Google inovation that’s creeping me out (via Rux). I’ve been thinking about it and, weirdly enough, I do only use my computer for the internet. That and writing essays. But this second task is going to be over in a couple of months which means that by that time I will indeed only need Ren for my internet stuff. And watching movies… Which means I either a) need to start learning some actual programs and make use for my laptop or b) fall in line with the rest of the doodiefaces that have little knowledge of technology and let Google ‘make their... 

Genius! ) I love this! Found it via IQAds and I simply can’t stop laughing. So what do we do now? We’ve been told all our lives not to pee in the shower, always struggle with the urge to, seen the Mr Pee South Park episode. Just wanted to let you know I had a lovely Bday yesterday! And the day before yesterday, with its 14 hour party It’s nice to look back and be happy about what you see, it’s nice to hear people you haven’t talked to in such a long time, it’s nice to laugh or cry with all your heart, because you really feel happy! So thank you everyone [again] for the lovely words and for reminding me I really do have a huge amount of absolutely wonderful friends all over the place! :* From fish to froggy to…I’m thinking I’ll be a crocodile next year! I’ve been lucky so far, just working 5 hours/day, but today we have the final first real challenge: working for 10 hours straight on a Saturday (which is the busiest day of the week). So far, I’ve been doing fine, I learned several dishes, served some tables on my own, using the touch pad thingy, I now know just how to use the card machine (yay!) and I still haven’t helped myself to any of the desserts Today I either rock, or I suck PS: People in the restaurant keep asking me about my accent and keep thinking I’m Polish, so they keep telling me ‘dobre’... 

First real live day at the Loch Fyne, with a busy shift and everything. 6 hours of shadowing and only one table served completely by me. Seafood is complicated and smelly, but so far so good. It’s not the job that’s  killing me, it’s the way there and back. I think my legs will fall off by the time I turn 23 ) For real! ‘Cheer up! Granpa used to walk 10 km in the snow to get to school. WTF are you complaining about , wuss?’ I changed the colour, cause the grey was kinda killing me ‘How’s the dissertation going, you ask?’ I... 

Of something that scares the living shnitzel out of me! Jobbing for Loch Fyne. Biking 16 km a day, 5 days a week. Serving food I’m not familiar with in a language that is not my own. Working on the dissertation at the same time. Planning ahead for a sunny future ) I’m too pooped/excited to go on. It’s good news, it’s promising, I just hope I’m not in over my head.
